Arlington at Christmas

If you've ever been to ANC (Arlington National Cemetary), you are struck by several things: the peaceful final resting place our fallen heroes have. The hush that envelops this tranquil land. The love and tender care that is evident everywhere you go in ANC.

No cars (except official vehicles) are allowed in ANC. So as you walk through, you don't hear someone's radio blaring. It's quiet, peaceful and respectful.

I have been here many times. It will always be on of my favorite places to go. I love how they honor our fallen soldiers. It's breathtaking. This shot is of the Christmas wreaths that adorn the markers.

If you've never been to Arlington, please take your time when you come to visit. This is one place that every American should see. Posted by Picasa
