Father's Day

It was a nice day. We went to church.
Well, 4/5 of us did. Jonathan is on Day 4 of the new meds and they're still making him groggy and queasy so he declined to join us. Greg invited a fellow soldier to worship with us. We're attending her wedding next weekend and we were glad to have her as our guest.

The kids and I gave Greg all of his Father's Day goodies. He knew most of his gifts but this was the one that I surprised him with. It's a custom-matted big print of Denali National Park in the Fall months. We have fond memories of Denali.....and this picture will hang over our bed. It's matted to set off the amazing colors in the print and Greg will make the frame himself. (When you're married to a Master Woodworker, you get one of a kind frames!)

He also got a Craftsman Project Calculator, a Home Depot pencil holder/zinger (not the official name, I know), an Orvis fly rod carrier for our trip back to Alaska this summer and a tie.

I am blessed with a wonderful husband. He adores our children.
