how I start my day
1. I wake up slowly. (As slowly as possible, but this is dictated by either an alarm clock or a child who needs me)....
2. I offer a simple silent prayer that God will let me be a blessing to someone today. I started doing this on a daily basis after a sermon last year. It helps me focus right from the start.
3. And probably best of all, I start my day off with a snuggle. Adam is the BEST cuddler. He crawls beneath the many layers of blankets that I must sleep with and he wraps his loving arms around me and lets me know what is most important.
