it was.....

It was....
...campfires, built with sticks that the kids collected.
.......burying yourself in sand on the beach, lost in the moment.
...leaves, so many shades and colors of beautiful leaves...
.......a lake so blue and clean that you would swear that it wasn't real....
.....hiking and enjoying nature with Jonathan.
.........making sand angels for the first time.
....trees, trees and more trees. (and spiders!)
...Jonathan's first time on a paddle boat (he was less than enthused about how hard it was)
.....being close to each other, like family should be.
......it was touching a fish (again)...
....shoes forgotten, worries tossed away, stress left behind....
...it was sand in your hair, between your toes and memories tucked away.
...fishing with Dad, enjoying the time,
......it was loving every minute.

It was Cowans Gap, Pennsylvania.

I wanna go...but I don't have the "camping" kind of husband. Sigh.

Sand everywhere requires a large bottle of baby powder. Sand comes off, and the bonus is that you smell lovely and are drier (for the moment). Is this picture a digital page, or is it a scrap page, because it's an AWESOME layout!
