It started off as a "Use up some supply" project.
And then I thought, "Well, I could do a giveaway."
Then snow, ice and sleet blanketed our area and one of my kids got sick. and I am behind schedule.....

SO here it is: BLOG CANDY (which was Valentine's themed).

You have to use up some of your supplies. Buy NOTHING new. In my case. I have FOUR ribbon jars crammed full and need to pare them down. Ribbon anyone?

I also wanted to use my new CuttleBug stylized flowers embossing folder. I love it so much that I bought it twice, which leads us to the giveaway part...

I'm giving you until Sunday night to send me your best "Use it Up" card. The winner gets MY card (I know...no big prize there..) PLUS you get the new CuttleBug embossing folder PLUS you get Godiva chocolates....(I didn't even get Godiva for Valentine's Day, people, so this shows how much I love ya!)

My card was fun to make. I "painted" the ink on the background with a Q-tip, very slow and tedious but it gives it a ncie look, I think. Plus I used my oval punches, which I love....It's got some brown and white gingham ribbon that I hoarded. I bought it two years ago in Missoula, Montana when we were PCS'ing here from AK. You know how hard it is to find BROWN gingham ribbon?? I carefully measure the card and decide if it's brown gingham ribbon worthy...(a la Seinfeld) If you want some ribbon, I'll switch out chocolates for ribbon...hehehehe....

So send me your best "Use it Up" card. Hopefully someone other than my friend Linda will join in....

Edited to Add:
Inquiring Minds wanna know: "What is I don't have a CuttleBug?" Good news! You can still use this. I've seen other girls on other blogs use a ROLLING PIN (can you say ingenious?) and you can use it in the Sizzix with an adapter or even the Big Shot. Or if you win and only want the Godiva, then give the folder to a crafty friend who will love you for it! One thing's for certain, if you DON'T have th CB, you'll want one when you see how nice these folders are.

BTW, I saw brown gingham ribbon at my Joann store this week. It was in a display of ribbon for scrapbooking. It was the store brand, if I'm remembering correctly, and cost 99 cents. I don't see it on the Joann website, but it's entirely possible that I'm just missing it. The Joann website is, however, running a sale and free-shipping promotion on Cuttlebug merchandise.
