My cold, for the most part, has passed. Now it's just the leftover dredges of a cold. It never ceases to amaze me how much snot one person can make. Gross!

Kids are off to get Jonathan's glasses fixed at Wal-Mart. Jon is VERY hard on glasses. He averaged two pair a month, and that's a good month. Wal-Mart has the best warranty for kids' glasses: 1 year! But you have to be 18 or under. So we're off to Wal-Mart.

Then we are hitting the Bluemont Fair. We went as a family last year and the kids LOVED it. It's truly the best of what a small town fair should be. Food, fun, crafts, we're headed there today. I really wish Greg were here to go with us.

The kids, particularly Micaela, have had a difficult time with his absence. Micaela was hysterical yesterday, thinking her Daddy was never coming home. She was wailing that her family was broken up, that she didn't have a daddy anymore, that I was all alone...Poor girl. Luckily, her daddy called her and explained that he would be home soon. I know *I* will be glad when he gets home. Speaking of my man, today he's riding as a Patriot Guard. He's escorting a fallen soldier to his final resting spot. The soldier was an avid Harley rider and requested the escort.

Now, I am off to the Fair. I will have pictures to share, I'm sure.
