oh yeah!!

Lucky me. I was FIRST in line to get this at my local library today!!
(I bet I am done by the end of the week.....)
-----------------------
I am on a personal mission: NO EATING OUT at all for the entire month. It will be tough. Especially since we have some really good Chinese take-out in my small town.
But I need to cut back. Not only is it cheaper to eat at home, but it is healthier.
The money I'll be saving is what I am interested in.
So unless someone takes me out, it's no-eating-out for me. Let's see how long I can do it.
(It's a well-known fact that I am weak..)
-----------------------

Ordered my heating oil for winter NOW at today's prices. It's just gonna get worse.
OUCH is what I have to say about that.
-----------------------

I am going to try to exercise this month.
Key word: try.
Once again, weak.
-----------------------

Started the kids' homeschooling this week.
It's going well. Adam was actually chanting "I love Math!" this morning.
Let's just say that he gets that from his Dad.
Let me also say that teaching a girl with FX to understand MATH is a test of my finite patience.
I am utilizing some of these resources:

The Math Worksheet Site.com (a pay site but well worth it....),
Addition Flash Cards at Mr. Martini's (free),
Bill Nye The Science Guy (Adam LOVES Science)
and EdHelper.com (not free but it's really good).

Even if you're not a homeschooling family, you might be able to use some of these! None of these are paid endorsements, I am just sharing what *I* use. If you have sites to recommend, please share.

I'm trying to curb the eating out majorly too. With the gas prices and my upcoming surgery we just can't afford it. It's sooo not easy. We are pretty weak around here too.

And I applaud you with teaching your baby girl math...it isn't easy.
