Sarah rocked!!

Sarah Palin ROCKED her speech tonight!
It made me cry, ESPECIALLY when she talked about how all of us special needs parents would have someone in the White House who understood and would be an advocate. I'll admit it: I cried.
Now, I am off to bed. I am whooped up tired. It's not good for my sleep schedules to have the conventions so quickly on the heels of the sleep-depriving Olympics...

Oh my gosh! I loved her. I was cheering at the television. Eric thought I was crazy, but I didn't care. What a strong woman she is! I wasn't very excited about voting for McCain before her speech, but now I will place my vote for him with enthusiasm.

I cried at that spot too....And man, oh man, could you SEE the love and adoration in Todd's eyes? Every time the camera cut to him, he was looking at her with such intensity, it was almost like looking into a private moment that is being shared between lovers. And her love for him is equally palpable!

I thought the absolute CUTEST moment came when Piper was holding Trig, and the camera caught her smoothing down his hair...with the BIG palm lick!

Good for kristiem10! It was wonderful! I think any momma whose had or has a child with special needs, handicapped, seriously ill, ..all most likely cried...cried tears of joy and thankfulness...Our Lord hears our prayers! It was a momentous evening, indeed! Great and gracious God...thank YOU for Sarah and Mr. McCain...please protect them and their families! Amen!

I think it's worth noting that Sarah Palin significantly cut funding for special needs children in Alaska when she was governor.

yep, she did. She cut EVERYTHING across the board. So at least she wasn't picking on SpEd.

I believe her life is about to change. And I'm not referring to the VP slot. Special needs kids change your perspective on every lil thing in life.

I absolutely loved her speech, I've never voted Republican before but her speech is really making me think twice about my vote. I think she would be a great VP.
