local stuff

Loudoun County Public Schools are closed today, January 27th, due to the inclement weather.
All Administrative Office will be open on time.

(there's a very small amount of snow.....but I can see why they cancel it with buses on rural roads but this complicates my day greatly....it's tough to homeschool with Jonathan, The Snack Attacker on the prowl....)

The Franklin Park Performing and Visual Arts Center will sponsor our 10th Annual Youth Art Show for preschool to high school aged students in Franklin Park at 36441 Blue Ridge View Lane in Purcellville.
This year's suggestedtheme is "Creativity Explosion."
Loudoun County public, independent and home school students are encouraged to enter this year's contest.
All media including painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media and photography will be accepted. Certificates and ribbons will be awarded.
