#9...oh my...seriously.

I heard rumors that the FRONT ROWS, during the introduction of outgoing president Bush, began singing, "nah nah nah nah, hey hey, goodbye". what is this, high school? Again...they think the world will be better place just by this election....and it won't. Someone on my facebook said it best: Right on, the only people that can effect change are "WE" the people...

That the media has a distinct left bias is well known. The media as any group of people have their share of jerks. How quickly we forget how Clinton and Carter left the White House in shame and definitely tainted. Way more so than George Bush who made as gracious of an exit as I have ever seen.

The record number of folks who attended the inauguration really tell us of what excitement Obama brings to the scene. But the inauguration is just one day. I think our country needed this boost, this day of joy, and can understand the media exulting in it, though they could have practiced their own writing about forgetting partisanship for that day. They clearly could not. I don't expect the Obama fans to be anything other than exhileratingly biased on this inaugural day, but it is a shame that the press could not be a better.

With this momentum on his side, I certainly hope Obama can deliver. It would so disappointing if all of this build up just leads to a grinding halt and things exactly as they were or worse.
